Dear Sirs,
I would like to strongly object to the proposal for extra MS’s to the Senedd. Not only would this be a further waste of taxpayers money the current MS’s are not subject to a recall.
I as a taxpayer living in Wales all my life, I feel that the MS’s are not following the taxpayers wishes, neither are the full facts of speed restriction surveys being aired in the Senedd. Namely the forced 20 mph restriction on our roads which is against the majority of the population’s wishes and the extra COVID lockdown over Christmas and new year which affected family life and the local businesses very badly.
I can see no justification for additional members and feel the money could be better spent on the Welsh NHS who have been battling for years to attain English standards and have really floundered since the COVID pandemic with the mismanagement by the Senedd.
Yours faithfully.
